Intro: (What is Marketing?)

Marketing is the action or business of promoting and selling products or services, determining the success of a new service or product through research done with possible customers to then sell and deliver products to consumers. Doing so information like opinions and feedback are gathered. Marketing has four components: product, place, price, promotion. Such activities like public relations, sales promotion, advertising, social media, distribution and other functions. So, marketing isn’t just about a specific product, it’s a range to achieve audience and profit.

Why does Marketing exist?

Since the 2000BC, people all over the world want to spread influence of their product to have their product heard. Farmers would brand their cattle to make them stand out from other livestock, and craftsmen would imprint symbols onto their goods to signify their origins. Making their own personal designs. There has always been competition in the business industry, branding to stand out from other businesses and using marketing determine which customer would be best to present their products, capturing attention and persuading purchases.
